We were looking for a wall hammock for our 4 month Maine Coon kitten that would last as he grows to full size.
We looked at other makes before seeing this but they all used small diameter dowels and soft wood for the base that would just about hold his weight now but had no chance of holding him much longer.
This hammock is the complete opposite of those. The base is made of a harder wood. The supports are solid and fit snugly into their sockets and are held there by large bolts. On top of that the fabric is strong and has a decent amount of padding for comfort. When he jumps onto the hammock there is no movement or sag from the supports and he really enjoys relaxing in there.
We did use different rawl plugs and bolts to install it as we were a bit unsure about the supplied ones, they are probably strong enough to hold onto the drywall but we had some industrial ones here so used them instead.
We are more than happy with this hammock and have no doubts that it is secure enough to hold him in the future.
Wij zijn zeer te vreden. Het ziet er stijlvol uit en is stevig materiaal (grote katten).Ook was het makkelijk te monteren. Onze katten zijn er weg van 🥰
Kwaliteit is geweldig en de hangmat ziet er luxe uit. Mijn kater van ruim 5 kilo is er hier zo blij mee. Eindelijk een hangmat waar hij in past en die stevig genoeg is om zijn gewicht te dragen. Samen met de 2 opstapjes set gekocht. Het is echt een prachtige hangmat en zijn prijs meer dan waard.
